From the moment you land beneath the towering presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro, your lens will become a portal to a world where nature reigns supreme. We will traverse the legendary landscapes of Tanzania, including the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Ndutu, and the Serengeti, where the rhythm of life plays out in breathtaking spectacles.
Herds of Wildebeest thunder across golden plains, lions and leopards bask in the glow of dawn, elephants weave silent paths through the bush, and zebras and giraffes move like living brushstrokes across the horizon. The sky will be alive with the movement of Africa’s extraordinary birdlife, offering endless opportunities to capture moments of wonder far beyond our everyday existence.
But this journey is more than landscape and wildlife—it’s about connection. One of the most soul-stirring photographic experiences will take us into the heart of a Maasai Village, where we will document the dignity, strength, and spirit of a people deeply connected to the land. MIGRATION
Although we cannot guarantee anything, we have planned our workshops to coincide with the Great Migration. The wildebeest herds migrate through the massive savannas, and seeing the migration is a soul-stirring sight to behold. The Great Migration involves approximately 1.5 to 2 million wildebeest, along with zebras and other animals, trekking across the great plains in search of grazing and water.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Education and Inspiration
The fun will begin before we ever leave for the trip! We’ll use online meetings to talk about preparing for the trip, what you need to do before the trip, what to bring, photo techniques, and so much more. During the workshop, we will provide several educational mid-day sessions to answer any questions you may have, or show you various photography and editing techniques. While on safari, Jeff & Kim will move between vehicles so everyone can have 1-1 time with them and receive personal attention.
10 days/9 night Safari. This includes all park fees, concession fees, and crater fees.
Transportation from JRO International Airport to our hotel in Arusha, where we will stay the night and prepare to depart on our Safari the next morning.
4WD vehicle with an experienced driver/guide. They are experienced at finding the animals and landscapes you will want to see, and tell you all about the locations and the animals. They will also work to get you in the best spot to get that perfect image.
2 PEOPLE MAX per vehicle to give you plenty of space to capture that perfect image. The vehicles will be configured by removing seats to give you maximum movement to capture that winning photograph.
A visit to Maasai Villages to learn about the people and photograph them in their lifestyle and environment.
WORKSHOP CANCELLATION, DEPOSIT, PAYMENT, REFUND & INSURANCE POLICIES
We must rely on your confirmed attendance and timely deposit to make important arrangements, reservations and payments in advance based on our vendors requirements for your workshop to be a positive and pleasant experience.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS . . .
Your initial deposit $1500 is DUE May 19th, 2005. Your second installment for this workshop is due September 30th, 2025. The balance is due November 30th, 2025, NO EXCEPTIONS.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS . . .
Sometimes you need to cancel a trip. Plans and desires change and we understand that. We also hope that you understand certain arrangements, reservations and plans must be made weeks if not months out from a workshop. Deposits are used to make these arrangements to make your experience a pleasant one. Of course, we wish you to come again and again and to tell your friends about your wonderful experience.
Initial deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you cancel at anytime after the initial 72 hour (Colorado - Right to Rescind Law) time period and before 30 days from the first day of the workshop, any additional monies are refundable less a 15% administration fee. If you must cancel within 30 days before the first day of the workshop, all funds are non-refundable.
Workshop registrations are usually NOT transferable. We will take each situation on a case-by-case basis. If Soul Road Trips needs to cancel a workshop, we will let you know as soon as possible. We will not be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets, additional lodging and any other of your expenses related to this trip.
