THE GRAND TETONS

Jackson, Wyoming   |   September 16 - 20

$1500

Two incredible national parks & one stunning state park . . .

GRAND, MAJESTIC
& BREATHTAKING

The Grand Tetons are such an amazing sight the first time you see them. Actually, they are amazing every time you see them. When the weather changes, the look of the peaks changes their demeanor and appeal. Whether it is at sunrise or sunset, heavy clouds or pure blue sky, you won't be disappointed.

We will have the pleasure of photographing the Tetons from several vantage points including Schwabacher's Landing, Elk Ranch Flats, Mt Moran at Oxbow Bend and reflections of the northern Tetons in Jackson Lake. There are

many more vantage points!

You love wildlife right? How about some bison, elk, deer, bear, eagles and more? We'll go searching

for these critters as well. Another treat of photographing at the Tetons is along the

Mormon Row Historic District. The

famous Moulton barns are not to be

forgotten with a sun-kissed Grand Teton

in the background. Delicious!

We will also visit Moose Falls just inside the south Yellowstone park entrance. We’ll also make a quick stop into the Jackson Lake Lodge for the grand view of the entire Teton Range! It's a beauty!

This Road Trip is a popular one with plenty to see and do. We are limiting this trip to 10

photographers so don't even stop to think

about whether you are coming or not.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience and photograph fall in SW Colorado. There is nothing else quite like it. I will challenge you to create fine art imagery other than what you have been comfortably doing. I will suggest and share different techniques other than what is on your “usual shot list!"

Yes, there are some amazing scenes on this trip that will make you comfortable with your photography. But, I want you to push yourself. I’ll suggest you try a different lens, or point-of-view. I will challenge you to create something that you don't normally see. You are in for some great lessons.

This is a workshop, I want you to work!! Alright, its a fun adventure and we'll feed you well. So, come along and see autumn like you've never seen autumn before. Truly a life changing adventure!

LODGING

WHAT TO BRING

Camera, tripod, filters, lenses, shutter release, Hoodman loupe and whatever other gear makes you happy. Also bring your laptop with Photoshop and Lightroom already installed and working. Sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray and a hat

are advised. Having layers of clothing is great

as you can take off and put them back

on as the temperature changes. Having rain

gear available is not a bad idea either.

Rain gear for your equipment, too!

IN THE CLASSROOM

This is a hands-on opportunity so bring your computer! I have discovered that offering critique sessions during a Road Trip greatly increases your growth. Being able to shoot, critique, adjust and understand during a workshop is a very efficient and

rewarding way to learn.

ZOOM

I will offer a Zoom session a couple of weeks following the Road Trip. This is an ideal situation because we are all comfortable at home with our familiar computer setups. We will take a look at your imagery and I can offer critiques and other helpful and positive feedback. Then I will offer my
step-by-step process of how
I interpret
and enhance my imagery.

YOUR INVESTMENT

For your investment you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the most incredible landscapes in the national and state parks system. There are a

lot of unique views and landscapes to

photograph in the parks we

will be visiting in Utah.
