WILDFLOWERS of COLORADO
July 13 - 16, 2018
Some of Colorado's finest . . .
Colorado wildflowers are second in beauty only to the amazing scenery of Colorado itself. [But hey . . . it's the flowers we're after! While we're photographing those beauties I'll offer as much in the field photographic education that you can handle. This always proves to be an amazingly fun road trip.
Crested Butte is wildflower central for Colorado wildflowers. Come join me for some fun in the fields of Central Colorado. We'll work the grand landscape at sunrise and at sunset right down to the tiniest of petals on your favorite flowers. Bring your wide lens and your macro as we'll put them to good use!

In the Field
Camera, tripod, filters, lenses, release cord and whatever other gear makes you happy. Sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray and a hat are advised. Having layers of clothing is great as you can take off and put them back on as the temperature changes. Having rain gear available is not a bad idea either. And rain gear for your equipment, too! More detailed info about gear after you register.
In the Classroom
This is a hands-on opportunity so bring your computer! I'll share with you how I edit and prepare my images in Lightroom and Photoshop. I also use the NIK Software suite. Have these all loaded and running on your computer before the class, please!
For your investment you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the most incredible collections of wildflowers on some of Colorado's amazing landscape. You will be able to capture wide-angle shots with flowers and mountains right down to beautiful macro images of just a petal or two. Great opportunity!
