WILDFLOWERS of COLORADO
JULY 9 - 12, 2021
Colorado wildflowers are among the most gorgeous I've ever seen.
We'll spend hours in the field with endless flowers and scenery you'll not want to leave. I will also offer image critiques during the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday. These image critique opportunities coupled with hands-on experience will almost guarantee you beautiful results and help you to become an amazing fine art photographer..
We're going up to Yankee Boy Basin where, at above tree line the skies are sapphire blue and the wildflowers a prolific. The waterfalls are alluring and beautiful. Butterflies and dragonflies everywhere. Other locations we will scout for flowers are along Red Mountain Pass, Black Bear Pass, Wilson Mesa and many other luscious locations in the SW of Colorado.
Bring your wide lens, your macro lens, tripod and some reflectors as we'll put them to good use creating fine art images you'll want to hang on your wall!

Two of a Kind
We will be hanging out in SW Colorado where the wildflowers and scenery are pretty much endless . . . I promise! Our home base will be in Ouray at the Ouray Chalet Inn. But we will be visiting Yankee Boy Basin, The Million Dollar Highway, Red Mountain Pass, and many other side roads in that area. We must check out Telluride and the Wilson Mesa as well. Such breathtaking scenery and experiences await.
I will share with you many techniques for close-up and macro photography. Be excited!
Bring your favorite camera gear, tripod, shutter release, filters and laptop with Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC (already installed and working)
All skill levels are encouraged to come and play in this atmosphere beyond words. After the workshop you will see why words can't explain this unusual and unique collection of photographically rich landscape. Seriously!
Here are some of the things I hope to encourage your photographic growth in:
Depth of field
Image prep in Lightroom
Image enhancement in Photoshop
and so much more . . .
