                                    (COMPLETE ROAD TRIP)

Foxes, Cats, Bears, and Racoons . . . Oh My!

Photographing wildlife is such a favorite theme for so many photographers. It can be quite exhilarating and rewarding to capture a wild cat, fox, or bear in its own environment. Easy and fun, right? The only issue with photographing wildlife is finding them. Well, that and having them cooperate with you so you can photograph them. Oh, not so easy now, is it?

The Triple D Wildlife Wildlife in Kalispell, Montana is the obvious answer! Jay and Kim Deist have been raising and caring for multiple species of wildlife since 1972 when Jay's father, Lorney Deist, got Jay hooked on learning about wild animals, their behavior, training and caring for them. It became a natural move for the Deist family to create Triple D Wildlife for photographers, cinematographers, and other visual artists to experience.

May 28 - 31, 2020 will be our chance to experience this wonderful opportunity to capture amazing and genuine photographs of wildlife in their natural habitat, not on some fake painted mountain cloth backdrop! Just to tease you a little, here is a list of the natural locations they offer for us to photograph at.

Photographers visiting Triple “D” have over a dozen professionally designed natural settings to choose from and include:

  • Sites with rocky outcrops

  • Aspen groves

  • Ponds for reflective shots

  • A site with natural vegetation ideal for filming foxes, raccoon, bobcat and coyote.

  • Den sites perfect for filming baby animals with an adult.

This is proves to be a very popular Road Trip. My partner and Triple D veteran, Kory Bumgardner and I are offering 12 spots for this exciting and truly rewarding Road Trip. The first 12 to sign up are the lucky ones! Do it NOW!!

Minimum of 6 attendees to make this happen!

WHAT'S HAPPENING

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The workshop fee of $1295 includes four (4) morning sessions of photographing wildlife at Triple D Wildlife.

Afternoon sessions will be on location in various breathtaking scenery of Montana. There is an additional fee of $500 to add the afternoon sessions to the morning sessions for an all-encompising experience of the Big Sky Country that Montana is. Your total for this Soul Road Trip  will be $1795 for the complete package.

The Morning Sessions -

Each session will begin around 6a and will conclude around noon. The weather and the animal's cooperation will dictate our exact schedule. We will be able to select which animals we want to photograph about 7 - 10 days out. You can photograph whatever animal you wish even if different than the rest of the group. Some animals have a minimum number of photographers needed to bring out that particular animal. They also offer optional animals to photograph as time allows. Each additional animal is $175.

The Afternoon Sessions -

Each afternoon we will head to a gorgeous and breathtaking

location for landscape photography. We will be looking for mountain views, waterfalls, abstract imagery and whatever else trips your shutter! Macro photography is always an option so have that macro lens or close-up filters and a tripod.
