N0vember 8 - 12

Two incredible National Parks . . .

Moab is such an amazing place to spend time at and photograph. Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, Castle Valley and Arches are located just outside of Moab, UT and are so incredibly diverse in their landscape . . . and from each other . . . it is mind-blowing. The overlooks, rock formations and colors are simply astonishing! And what sweet light before sunrise and after sunset do to these structures and views is just breathtaking. We're going to cover a lot of ground going to both the Needles District and Isle in the Sky District of Canyonlands. Dead Horse Point State Park offers us stellar overlooks and Arches is like an alien landscape with scenery that will stick in your memory forever. Come experience and photograph these great areas with me and let's have fun and create some amazing fine art images.

November 8 - 12, 2019

I will offer a couple of image critique opportunities and we'll spend a day in the classroom where I will share with you my techniques in Lightroom & Photoshop that I use to create my style of fine art imagery and help you create your own style. I've found that when I offer these "away from the camera" opportunities, attendees become better photographers in the field. Having feedback on your images and an extensive idea of how to process, enhance and present your imagery will make you a more creative and imaginative artist. This classroom opportunity is an optional day scheduled for the day AFTER the Road Trip. See below!

Some of the topics and techniques I plan to cover include:

  • Image pre-visualization

  • Composition

  • Adjustment layering and masking in Photoshop CS5
  • NIK Software

  • Topaz Studiio
  • Luminar
  • Texture overlays, borders and other creative presentations

  • HDR
  • Lots more as time permits

This workshop is limited to 13 attendees so that I can run around and get with each of you to help and instruct as much as you desire. It is open to all levels of skill & desire so don’t be shy . . .

reserve your spot right now!
