Friday August 17th

Arrive in Anchorage and we'll pick you up at the Ted Stevens International Airport. At 6p we'll gather in my suite for dinner and a short program where I will show you some images of places we will be going. We'll talk about the plans for the trip and just get acquainted. Lodging in Anchorage.

Saturday August 18th

7a - Meet in the lobby of our host hotel and we'll head for breakfast. We'll then hit the road northbound to visit Palmer, Hatcher Pass and Talkeetna. We will be staying in the very quaint village of Talkeetna this evening.

Sunday August 19th

5a - It's an early morning as we will want to capture My Denali at sunrise. Next is a fun-filled tour bus ride through Denail National Park. Lodging in Denali Park.

Monday August 20th

7a - Breakfast and then north to Fairbanks where the Aurora Borealis will be waiting for us. Well at least we hope so. We will certainly try

to capture the elusive "Northern Lights". Lodging in Fairbanks.

Tuesday August 21st

7a - Breakfast and then a rather lengthy drive back to Anchorage. There is a lot to see and photograph on this drive. Lodging in Anchorage.

Wednesday August 22nd

8a - Breakfast and a short drive south to Beluga Point along the

Cook Inlet. Next we'll head to the Portage Glacier, a stunning sight to see! A stop at the Alaska Wildlife Animal Sanctuary to photograph a variety of native creatures large and small. Then another short drive to Seward where we will be spending the next two nights.

Thursday August 23rd

Prepare for an amazing cruise to the Northwestern Fjord. It is a

marine wildlife cruise so we'll be watching for Puffins, whales, seal and porpoise, and many more fun creatures. The ship also cruises close to several glaciers and ice-fields! I's an all-day extravaganza. Lodging in Seward once again.

Friday August 24th

This morning we take a drive westward towards Homer and the Homer Spit. More outrageous landscape all the way! Here's the big treat of the trip . . . We will be lodging at the Cove Peak Resort in Halibut Cove. It's a very private cove across the Kachemak Bay. We'll take a 20 minute water-taxi ride to get there. Gourmet meals and extremely quaint cabins . . . Oh YES! I know I'll have a problem trying to get you to go back home after this experience!

Saturday August 25th

Early . . . bush planes await us back on the Homer Spit. They will fly

us over to the Katami Peninsula so we can photograph the bears and salmon playing together! WooooHoooo! This is an optional side-trip. Some of you may not get a kick out of flying in 4 and 6 seat bush planes. That's cool! We will arrange some other things to see and photograph for you instead. This is also an ADDITIONAL FEE trip. A 5-6 hour excursion (they guarantee you will see bears or money back) runs between $600-800 a person. We will handle payment individually at the guide station before the flight. You're gonna love

it! Lodging once again at the Cove Peak Resort.

Sunday August 26th

We need to head back to Anchorage today. There are so many things to photograph along the way so be excited. Lodging in Anchorage.

Monday August 27th

So sorry but the trip is over. Make your return home flight plans for today. We will gladly drop you off at the airport.
