This is one of the most diverse and immense landscapes in the US. I wish for you to see it. Look at your current portfolio and tell me there isn't room for some images like this!

Sand dunes, towering marble walls, a canyon that looks like a paint palette, deliciously cracked earth floor of the valley and a view Dante loved from 4000 feet above that valley floor. Got it?

Well ,click here to come along . . .

Valley of Fire

Feb 28 - March 2, 2020

Oh boy, is this a fun one. We'll take a quick weekend trip to Vegas to photograph Red Rock Canyon, Nelson; the ghost-town, and The Valley of Fire,

We'll even spend an evening on Fremont street in old downtown Las Vegas. The lights and the people are awesome to watch and photograph.

March 6 - 10, 2020

Soft and light and bright. Not a usual description of a landscape . . . but it fits the White Sands. Salmon colors at sunrise and magenta and violet at sunset. They are the brightest of white in full sun. The textures and patterns are endless.

If you haven't before you must. If you have, then you know what I am talking about. Let's go see this for ourselves!

March 20 - 24, 2020

At first glance, Badlands National Park just seem like a bunch of strange rock formations. Then it hits you . . . wow! What a diverse and exciting landscape. The shapes, textures, soft and subtle colors. Amazing.

Photographing wildlife is such a favorite theme for so many photographers. It can be quite exhilarating and rewarding to capture a wild cat, fox, or bear in its own environment. Easy and fun, right?

The only issue with photographing wildlife is finding them. Well, that and having them cooperate with you so you can photograph them. Oh, not so easy now, is it?

June 5 - 8, 2020

The Grand Tetons are such an amazing sight to behold. The weather changes so often the look of the peaks changes their demeanor and appeal. Whether it's sunrise or sunset, you won't be disappointed. We will view and photograph from several vantage points including Schwabacher's Landing, Elk Ranch Flats, Mt Moran at Oxbow Bend and reflections of the northern Tetons in Jackson Lake.

June 26 - 29, 2020

This is one of my favorite places to hang out. We'll shoot sunrise and sunset, and a lot of big piles of sand in between!! We'll also spend a late night shooting the stars if you wish to do that. The Sand Dunes are nestled at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range where 5 of Colorado's Fourteeners reside.

July 10 - 13, 2020

We'll spend hours in the field with endless flowers and beautiful scenery. I will also offer image critiques during the workshop. These image critique opportunities coupled with hands-on experience will guarantee you beautiful results.

We'll be going to Yankee Boy Basin where at above treeline the skies are sapphire blue and the wildflowers are prolific. The waterfalls are alluring and beautiful. Butterflies and dragonflies everywhere.

SEPTEMBER 15 - 19, 2020

Ever beautiful yet ever fleeting. The Aurora Borealis is that magical display or colored lights in the heavens. Caused by solar flares, wind speed and pixie dust from Angels on high ( not really sure how it happens ), it's a real reason to stand out in the cold at 2am. No, really!!

Five nights of possible sightings and a lot of hot chocolate is what is in store for you. I'm counting on your presence and some heart-warming conversation!! Just sign up, k?

October 2 - 5, 2020

The southwest corner of Colorado is an incredible place to be in autumn. The Aspen groves change at different times during the "Leaf Season". Some groves are green, some yellow and then those that are already orange through red-brown.

The scrub oak in its classic rich burgundy color are in contrast to the evergreen trees. It's a place of beauty and peace. To spend time here is wonderful for your soul.

October 10 - 17, 2020

By far one of the most beautiful locations for fall colors and stunning landscapes, New England in the fall is a breathtaking experience. A photographer's dream. The possibility of photographs is endless!

There are old churches, schoolhouses, stables, community buildings, cemeteries and oh ya . . . trees. Lots and lots and lots of colorful trees! More trees than you can imagine. And they all have their own color! Wow! Join me, please. I don't think you will want to go home!

November 13 - 17, 2020

Moab is such an amazing place to spend time at and photograph. Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point, Castle Valley and Arches are located just outside of Moab, UT and are so incredibly diverse in their landscape . . . and from each other . . . it is mind-blowing. The overlooks, rock formations and colors are simply astonishing! And what sweet light before sunrise and after sunset do to these structures and views is just breathtaking.

December 4 - 11, 2020

This will mark our 11th Road Trip to Cuba! The inaugural Soul Road Trip to Cuba in December 2016 was so much more than any of us could have expected. The scenery, the culture, the people and of course the classic American cars . . . everywhere. At first we found ourselves overwhelmed by it all. Then, to our surprise, we fell in love with it all! This trip was an incredible opportunity.
